    Snap Maps für ein offeneres Internet

    Nachdem sich in letzter Zeit viele einschliesslich Casey Neistat negativ über Snapchat geäussert haben, erhofft sich der YouTuber mehr von der Firma, deren Mission die schnellste Art den Moment zu teilen, teilweise von Instagram und Facebook durchkreuzt wurde.

    Ein spannendes neues Feature von Snapchat is die öffentliche Snap Map, die es ermöglicht öffentliche Snaps auch ausserhalb der App zu teilen wie ich das hier beispielhaft mit einem öffentliche Snap aus Zürich getan habe.

    Das ist einer der Gründe, weshalb ich Twitter lieber habe als Facebook. Es ist offener. Wäre ja schön, wenn Snapchat sich noch weiter öffnet für ein offeneres Internet.

    Here’s for some really powerful story telling. While looking at Human Made’s WordPress case studies I stumbled upon a video developed for Airbnb to mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall last year in November.

    In May 2012, an Airbnb guest, Cathrine, told them a powerful story of a trip she took to Berlin with her father, Jörg, a Berlin Wall guard at the height of the Cold War. She wanted to show him the vibrant city Berlin had become, but it was the man they met at their Airbnb apartment that changed everything for Jörg.

    This is by the way my first post published via the WordPress desktop client aka Calypso. Feels slick.
